fancylances versus RavensScar
[3 : 0]
First off, RavensScar gets high fives for being able to write tons of action without it getting boring or confusing. It was always interesting and easy to follow what was happening. I also like how much personality was given to the two gangs - it would have been really easy to slip into the trap of making all the gang member multitudinous non-entities, but they weren't. I got a very clear idea of what the two gangs were all about.
I enjoyed the nature of the "Seal" and thought the plan in the end was an excellent way to make use of Fancy's character. I can't really think of any complaints about this entry. The writing style is great. The characters are great. I suppose I'd be a bit disappointed if this demon business isn't somehow related to the main plot, but I suppose this is something I will see if RavensScar moves on to the next round!
Fancy utilizes some of the best pacing I've seen in this tournament thus far.
